I was a tad sad to see this one, but in about 6 hours after listing it on Craigslist it was picked up! A cute young couple came and my husband said they seemed happy...I will admit, it was not my best piece, sort of a quick turnaround...it needed a lot of help on the top stripping and staining, the front was like a strange hard plastic design attached to the wood. Regardless the design was pretty great and I am a sucker for unique hardware and this one definitely had that! It is actually a creamy ivory color...looks pretty white in the picture, with a dark stained top.

Hutch
This one went through quite the transformation! We took the doors off the top, filled the holes, painted, sanded and waxed it to create this beauty...sold and was gone two days after listing. I hope she enjoys it, she sent her husband from a good distance away to come and pick it up...what a good man!
At first I was a little intimidated to work on this one, but just knew it had potential. I saved the two upper doors and center piece to make picture frames out of them. I also saved the hardware, you never know when you find a piece that is missing some...never, ever throw any salvageable pieces away.

we have decided to pursue another passion...
and in doing that we are going with the name a little posh...we thought that might work well considering our children's clothing line, a little posh, is now being manufactured. Painting furniture is something I had done about 8-10 years ago and I have missed it. It helps to keep more creative juices flowing. We have decided to upcycle furniture by giving it just a little posh! Here you will find our latest treasures...both pieces that have been already completed and for sale or sold as well as pieces that haven't had any "poshing" done to it waiting for your ideas. We hope to start filling this blog very soon with many pieces that are waiting for a little TLC! You may also find other little posh things we have done around our home on a tight budget...with 4 children we have to!
